OP you're not responsible for the kids even if they are you'll have sibling I would advise you to probably just cut contact but just in case they do some b***** or some legal document you need to get a lawyer and just tell them that you don't want responsibility for the kids and I would invite you to possibly get a restraining order

Don’t ruin your peace.. Nta and I’d consider writing this to them and sending then blocking them. Just respectfully decline to be involved because if it was me I’d hate the kids and treat them as if they’re to blame for their father’s crappy behavior and unintentionally or intentionally take it out on them. So why put some innocent children in the crosshairs to be my choice of a target for the rage?! I’d explain I don’t want to but I’m not the better person who can’t stop myself for blaming the kids for the parents mistakes. I’d flat out say I am not a bigger person and I’m just not gonna be nice to them unless I ignore them then it’s a kindness. Ignoring is better than being a left behind focus for my rage
