I have never understood how this was never hailed as the obvious classic it is? I've discussed the poetry with friends and they say the poetry isn't bad. Isn't bad? Imo it's fkn outstanding!! From the 1st words to the last it's a poetic masterpiece.

Jim's poetry had musicality... This is how wrote songs: he made up poems and to remember them he would give them a melody to remember them before writing them, an original way of composing... Morrison was a genius.
