This is a perfect example of an irresponsible owner of a reactive dog. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. If you don't understand animal behavior, hire a trainer or animal behaviorist.
2. Don't bring an aggressive, reactive dog to a public setting.
3. Don't praise bad behaviorā€”saying "good boy" when heā€™s trying to bite you is counterproductive.

As someone who strictly owns reactive dogs and actively seeks out other dogs on a bite list I can assure everyone in the comments this guy doesnā€™t know what heā€™s doing and that dog is either going to kill something or be put down because of himā€¦main issue is you are in public in a tight isle

Personally I think if an animal is this poorly behaved don't take it in a store. But he did have it muzzled so it won't bite n he did have it leashed so it won't jump on anyone. So that's much better than what we normally see on here.

Bite force of a cane corso is 700 psi. In comparison a Pit Bull has around 300 ā€¦ so this dog is extremely dangerous

This may appear to be a simple "reward for bad behavior ", but it's actually much worse:
1. The owner rewards bad behavior
2. This is also creating a pavlovian response to an elevated level of excitement
3. He's also rewarding the dog for having an inappropriately high level of excitement
4. Maintaining tension on a choke collar causes problems
5. Cane Corsos were originally Roman dogs of war and were bred and designed to kill people and large animals like horses. If you don't have 100% cohesive control over this breed when you bring it to a public place, you don't care about human life. This is negligence.

I have two Corso's. This is not normal. What a fool. I can't believe he took the dog into a store.

This guy looks like heā€™s trying to train the dog in his own way instead of getting professional help. Heā€™s obviously the problem and needs to learn how to care for such an aggressive dog. Not to mention where to (NOT) take them
