In the mountain part of Western NC, the older people would say “you ‘uns” and “we ‘uns” when I was younger. Of course, when I was younger, people still sent their kids to school in overalls and bowl haircuts, and daddy had to get at least 2-3 bucks so they could eat more meat in the winter.
