One of my favorite horror movies. It was a mysterious, horrifying and even emotional journey that I’m glad that I was able to witness. Every time I watch it, I’m always asking questions, always wondering how it could have ended if things went in the main character’s favor, but even if the ending was bleak, I’ve seen far worse out there, so it wasn’t a complete gut punch to me personally. It was more of a character driven story than I believe most horror movies offer and in the main character’s position, it just makes you think about what you would have done without any outside knowledge and if you could have had a better ending or if you ultimately would have shared the same fate.
