Charts are hell especially when doing multiple dives or exploring a new site. Dive watches are extremely practical and a most function as an every day watch as well.

atleast to know the dive tables and how to use them is essential to understand tissue nitrogen load although using computer. That's how I teach OW course with tables and computer. It's easier for people to progress to tech diving when they have (atleast) basic knowledge of tables. And furthermore no computer will not take away the risk of getting DCS.

Yep and dive computers are also good for travel so you don't have to bring like a big chart or something like that you know what I'm saying😊
