Not sure of the laws in NJ but that looked like a legal pass on the left with blinkers... are trucks not allowed in left lane?

Watching this, it would appear that you are just hanging out in that middle lane, not allowing other traffic to pass. They have signs posted "slower traffic keep right". We all know that passing on the right is illegal. The law also says unless you are actively passing another vehicle you are impending the flow of traffic. REGARDLESS OF THE POSTED SPEED LIMIT.
Now for your students that I'm sure are watching this. Nothing wrong with being in that middle lane. The problem is that once in the middle lane drivers no longer check their mirrors and back up traffic. I travel in that lane, but when I see other drivers coming up behind me, I also move over to get out of the way and then move back.

The red truck was probably hogging the middle lane. The middle lane IS a trucks passing lane.. how about you move over so that truck can pass??

My guy even used an indicator and the next vehicle had a healthy distance between them so this was wrong and stupid.
