Especially in the hospital! It was like I couldn’t leave my father alone with the staff. He’d miss meals because he couldn’t call in his order or they wouldn’t put the food right in front of him.

Yes to healthcare/ hospitals. I was surprised when ER staff was making requests of her. I had to step in and model how to communicate what they needed.
