Evil is the cause of sin. Evil is the lack of God's truth and goodness, and sins are the resulting errors, whether they are premeditated or not. Many sins are committed in a state of having been deceived into thinking that something bad is good or helpful. People don't have to be premeditating harm to be sinning. Some people's sins cannot even be seen as such while they are in darkness. That is why Jesus said to the Father, "They know not what they do." People (especially hypocrites such as the Pharisees) are often blind to their sin. Yet they are still sinning! People need truth/light to displace the evil that they are operating according to. Thinking that premeditation is required for sin to be sin is a dark/untrue belief.

Intent makes evil sin. The lust of dominion appears to be a profound motive for sin.

That almost explains it. So evil is harm and sin is intentions against The Divine, maybe? And then where do we cross the line?

I agree to his point of view too.
Christianity today can not understand this today. Mr. Rose is a wise man.
And Emanuel Swedenborg wasn't a spiritist, he was a good man used by the Lord to explain us the inner meaning of the Word.
