We are working on upgrading our D-pad as we speak and will bring out our new controller very soon.
With regards to the issue you are having connecting and using the controller with your Android phone, please follow the steps below.
Here are the steps to connect to your Android phone:
1. Press the pairing button and Y button together.
The indicator lights 2 and 3 (two middle lights) found on the bottom edge of the controller will start to blink. This means Bluetooth has been activated.
2. Go to Phone: Settings > Bluetooth devices and find Gamepad.
3. Click this option to connect your controller to your gaming device.
When the indicators stop blinking, your controller is connected and ready to go.
Please let us know if this works.

I personally like how it looks. It's not super practical looking and a little busy, but I love the colors.
The way the lines are, I was half expecting it to have the ability to swap button and joystick positions

I like the fact that it has the EXACT same paint pattern as that xbox one cyberpunk 2077 controller that was practically unobtainium, i really wanted one but this will suffice my "cyberhunger for drip™"

I have the 8bitdo mini you showed, and anything more than 20 minutes it's painful. It's great for 8 bit and genesis games but the good snes ones that need all 6 buttons it's not great. I do have large hands though. The SN30 Pro still is the champ for me

I legit thought it was a batarang at first glance but definitely an interesting controller. I love the 8bitdo zero, I use it frequently and it is nice and cheap. I keep it in my switch case all the time.
