🍊Ingredients🍊

3 large eggs room temperature
Oil 1/2 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Zest of Orange 2 tbsp ( I used zest of one big orange)
Al purpose flour 1 and half cup
Fresh orange juice 3/4 cup
Salt 1/4 tsp
Baking powder 2 tsp

🍊Method🍊

In a mixing bowl add sugar and orange zest and mix it well with hands ( this step will elevate the orange flavour in the cake ) then add oil into it and beat for a minute until it combines well. Now add eggs one at a time and beat for a minute then add second egg and repeat the process.

Now, sift flour,salt, and baking powder and add the dry ingredients in batter with orange juice in three parts.
Start with flour then orange juice and fold with spatula and repeat the process and end with flour .

Pre heat oven at 350F for 15 minutes pour the cake batter in the greased and floured baking tin and tap on counter to remove the air bubbles. Bake for between 35_45 mins.
( I used 9 inches cake pan, and it took 40 mins to bake)

🍊Glaze🍊
Orange marmalade 2 tbsp
Fresh or store brought orange juice 2 tbsp
Mix both of these ingredients well till It’s a nice thick glaze. Once cake is baked, allow to cool 10 minutes, then remove from tin and apply glaze on warm cake and top with chopped cashews.
