This amalgam filling seem last forever. I have this filling since 1995 and still perfect until now. I like this filling rather than current filling which only have choice of white one and didn't last longer.

Use a carbide like a 245 to avoid pulverizing the amalgam and decreaae exposure to mercury. Cut the filling out in large chunks.

PIECE OF ADVISE: Don't do it, is worst removing it than leave it in the mouth, if we talk in terms of toxicity to the body.
Removing it releases harmful compounds and steams that can be dangerous to inhale. It needs to be done under very careful methods and knowledge of the posible contamination with mercury to the body and all the implications to health if that occurs, I can say that not all doctors have that knowledge. Please make a research of what I am saying before doing something like this. Health before aesthetic❤
