For your anchor, wouldn't you want to tie it off in this application? If for some reason, perhaps by human error, if you opened one grigri and not the other, your rope could slide through the anchor point if it is not tied off. Of course, the rope would be irretrievable from the bottom of the rappel.
Is that how you have it set up, or just the standard retrievable pass through?

If this is coming from the rescue environment, wouldn’t they be using the Rig or I’D descenders from Petzl’s Professional line as opposed to the Grigri?
