This was the song that my son told me was his song growing up it still makes me cry every time I hear it because he suffered because of the abuse and neglect from his mother until I could have him come live with me she finally gave in and let him live with me after trying to send him to a mental hospital it was all her doing and I wouldn't have it I miss him so much now he's with his girlfriend and I hear this song and it feels like it's now my song.

Always in these kinds of power bands there are songs that are really worth listening to again..... Boulevard of Broken Dreams, in my opinion, was the key to making their album even bigger, with good melody, great vocal performance and a very good production. Green Day are and will be great damn!!!!!!
