In the study, where they showed that dietary cholesterol doesn't increase cholesterol levels, the participants already had high cholesterol levels, and, the higher they are, the less they increase from dietary cholesterol.

Egg consumption will increase LDL. Shrimp consumption will also do it due to the high dietary cholesterol. People can just test this by testing their blood on and off eggs for a month.

As an Asian who underwent a drastic change in diet, I began eating bread and dairy products probably every day when I started eating a western diet. Suddenly, I was having a lot of skin problems, so I had a blood test and discovered that, despite only weighing 50 kg, my cholesterol level was 480. A dietician advised me to stop eating eggs, but I do not even eat them.

Cholesterol is essential for the brain.
Cholesterol in the blood is good irrelevant of HDL / LDL ratio.
Calcium in the blood causes atherosclerosis.

If anyone here has high cholesterol here make sure you are getting 15-20 min off sunlight everyday (midday). Super easy to do and will have many health benefits. I would also recommend you walk at least 45 min 5x a week but you’re probably not going to do that so i kept it simple.

Look at the type of oil you grabbed, too. High in saturated fat, not an organic source (seed oils are highly processed). Olive oil is a lot healthier. If you eat eggs and olive oil a lot, your cholesterol will be awesome.

Thank you for sharing this…I wish you could say this to my doctor because as soon as my cholesterol was a little up she wanted me on statin and told not to eat eggs….👎👎👎 I did reduced them..but still eat them because I love eggs….thanks for sharing 👍

There was a study apparently where people ate 36 eggs per day and the cholesterol levels didn't go up. I HAVE NOT SEEN IT MYSELF so if somebody knows of this please post it.
