Algebra terrifies me. It’s really hard. But I CAN do it. I may need a tutor. But I still CAN do it. I used to would quite literally burst into tears when I did algebra and messed up. I used to would log into my math curriculum and my brain would say “Okay, time to shut down.” I’m homeschooled so that is an added pressure to not be what the world thinks homeschoolers are. But now I’m finally beginning to understand it! I just gave in. I realized that I was trying to hard and not actually making any progress. I still am scared of algebra and I still struggle, but I push through and that is all that matters!
