They are both adorable! The internet says to use warm water and gentle cleaning tools (baking soda, vinegar, and nonabrasive sponges) on plaster molds. Another option said to use a clay knife and carefully scrape the dirty bits off. If you ever feel the need to clean it, you have options, but I don't personally care either way if it gets the job done, and it has done a beautiful job. π

The mould on the plaster mould could becdefloculent that has leached out of the slip during the casting process, it could also be a mould that I was taught to be wary of as a student 30 years ago. If it is mould, take care, it can be nasty when inhaled xxx. It's a beautiful plate, it reminds me of oyster plates that I've seen.
