I know this is an old clip but I am presuming this is made in an ironic sense. She is a "nod and wink " appointment. This woman is nothing but an identity politics grifter. It just goes to show how much the Irish state cares about our children by appointing a lesbian woman to the office who has no children. Followed up by a gay man who also has no children.
I have no issue with them being gay, but how the hell would they have any comprehension of what it is to rear a child when they have none. Her utterances in the Seanad just personify the liberal elite in Ireland. They think they are the good guys when they are actually they are the complete opposite. What was Enda Kenny thinking by appointing her!
It just goes to show you her commitment to Ireland by her leaving the country to get in on the Biden grift in the USA. I appreciate she had the loss of her wife to contend with and I am truly sorry for that. But it just goes to show you that her appointments and political life were nothing but a job to her when she cut and run from Ireland. No doubt picking up her pension in the USA for her "service" to the country. THIS is the caliber of person that Irish democracy attracts and entertains.
I am beginning to hate the country of my birth for we have truly fallen and are nothing.
Edit as I have just heard that Covney has made a job and an appointment for her. What an utter disgrace. I hope they all get the sack.
