I sadly am now disabled and caring for a special needs adult son. Yet Because of these very true statistics We go rid of most non necessities , just made last payment on 40,000 student loans, and using every extra penny I make to pay the last $3,500 of debt, no car and we are taking daily walks so that we can have a better life and hopefully change things around for generations to come. It was because of this lifestyle you describe I knew changes had to be made and we may be in poverty due to unfortunate circumstances but anyone can change and have a more meaningful life. Thanks for the guidance you bring on your channel. Small changes can be incredibly large in what matters most .

I'm in my late 50's, healthy, never married, raised a child to adulthood on my own without assistance or child support. I currently make 65K, no college education and am debt free. I personally believe divorce, college tuition and the consumer driven mindset is what keeps people in this unfortunate situation.
