My problem is that Oasis doesn't remember. If you see a cool mountain and accidentally look away, it's gone

I think the problem he has with it is that its generating his competitor and not his own games

My favorite part of it is how every time you play the game the ocean rises 10 inches

It is now 2036, nothing is made by humans anymore. All art, games, music, etc has had every bit of heart and soul torn out of it and put into a machine that grinds it up and turns it into various shades of ground beef. Tech chuds say "Whats the problem with that?" as they look to their AI girlfriend on their phone for validation.

The reason the founder of Epic Games is probably saying that is, because they make the “Unreal Engine 5” for developers, which the majority of the gaming industry uses. This technology could take away a large portion of their market share, as far as game engine licensing dollars, whenever this A.I. technology advances and matures.

Epic games can't even get their store to run properly, he needs to go sit down.

It seems people that hate this kind of ai with a burning passion still seem to hate it even when its used for its purpose, dumb fun, curiosity

Said the same thing about fortnite. Played it. Still think the same way.

Your game and platform is dying anyway Tim.

Why is he mad? Doing boring repetitive tasks like writing code is exactly what AI should be used for. It means less stress is put on the developers and they can focus more on the finer details of the game.

It certainly feels like this was a pretty extreme reaction to something that's brand new and kind of just appearing in the world.
