If I were based in the UK and didn't want to purchase by the ounce, I'd just opt for soveriegns. Such a beautiful coin, shame they aren't very popular on this side of the pond.

Nice coin,at this point i get the cheapest 1/4oz where available on line i have a few i always use, sovereigns are great to just shy of a quarter oz and a bit cheaper,when it comes to silver im maples all day long happy stacking 😊
