When your busy playing gangsta, refusing to learn or not even going to school don't be surprised if you cant read and write. Racism is not to blame. Culture and playing victim is to blame. No one is being denied education.

My great grandmother couldn't read or write. My grandmother went to school until she was 12 then went into the mill to work a 10 hour day. I think this young lady needs to realise that she has opportunities denied to many in the past. Reading and writing are taught in school but they need to be backed up at home.

Dr Ben Carsonā€™s(retired pediatric neurosurgeon) mom couldnā€™t read, but he never knew that until adulthood. She made him read a book and write a book report regularly, but because she couldnā€™t read and didnā€™t want her son to know, she said read me the report while Iā€™m busy cooking. He hated it at first and then grew to love books. The left hates him because he didnā€™t need the democrap plantation to get by. He also grew up in the ā€œhoodā€ of Detroit and is black, but that did not stand in his way. He should have given the speech at Morehouse, not Biden!

Stonewall Jackson taught black people how to read and write so they could read the Bible. In case you don't know who he is he was a General for the Confederate Army

People who worked with their hands did not necessarily need to be literate. In the uk, school became compulsory in 1870, that was in my grandfathers time. Children learned the rudimentary craft but would be out working at a very early age or obtain an apprenticeship to a life skill. If they lived on the land they worked alongside the adults and still do to a degree. You need to look at the life expectancy of children working under the looms, down the pits, up chimneys back in that era. Slavery was not governed by skin colour, do you imagine slavery no longer exists? Stop regurgitating rubbish you have heard

Grammar is not racist. The belief that a modern black person cannot use proper grammar because of, checks notes, systemic racism IS actually racist.

I hear a young lady speaking historical facts on how the education system were, but laws had to be changed, I keep hearing people use the word victim, there wouldnā€™t be victims if it werenā€™t victimizers. I believe thereā€™s always room for improvement, and yes things are much better than they were in the past.

Growing up my father made it a POINT to be accurate in speech and writing. Being vague serves no purpose, we arent working towards a solution when you cant even specify what or how it is wrong.

It also leaves the interpretation wide open! Even open to other mistakes.

And people will use your statements against you regardless. Rather your statements be wise and curated for interpretation by idiots rather than your own stupidity being a given in the way you write, the way you speak which in turn affects the way you think.

Not every person with a large vocabulary is an intellectual. But every intellectual has a large vocabulary. The words are our thoughts, the way we write and speak is our thought forms. These ideas can become objects and objects can also become ideas.

Thank you for coming to my potheadtalk.

If you go back far enough through history the majority of people were illiterate, not just black slaves. For a while only boys got any kind of schooling. But times change and we move on. It does not help to live in the past.
