A truck should be able to tow a trailer for more than 80 miles without needing you to drop your trailer and then spend 45 minutes to fill up.then an hour later do it all over again.

Performance was never the problem with EVs. Of course you get instant torque and amazing acceleration with an electric motor. But it remains to be seen how many people can fit this into their work routine. Drive 40 miles to your supplier, fill the bed with masonry bricks, drive another 160 miles to the customer's site, use the truck outlets to power your tools all day for the job, then see if you can make it home.
