I was a fly on the wall, when my roommate said he was going to shoot some hoops with the drummer of Alice in Chains. He said try not to make him feel uncomfortable. I said I don't even know whi the drummer is ot what.... Roommate said cool, I was introduced to Sean and he sat down at the large dinning table where I sat. My roommate Joe went to his room to put on his shoes for hoops. Sean , began telling Joe that he went to visit Layne, from the table to Joe's room down the hall , he spoke as matter of fact, Joe's reply , Yeah, how'd that Go? Sean proceeded to say it took like 20 minutes of knocking on the door for Layne to answer.,He has no teeth. More was said but I was definitely aware that Layne's friend was concerned about his bandmates health and not too much time past, maybe 6 months,,when Layne was reported that he had passed away. Very rarely does a person get to vicariously feel the inevitable outcome of a band member known as a rockstar, but actually just a long time friend and person obviously put in the time and practice to be a successful musical group.
