Cold Shoulder is a fantastic weapon for a couple of reasons.
Once unlocked you can craft it on new characters.
Also, as it came with challenges, this was a great addition to the SCOREboard, and I'd love to see seasonal weapons return as they add depth to the season!

I have a low lvl character I use as a shotgunner. Regardless of damage that character is the one freezing the SBQ during the event for others to shoot down. It's an amazingly effective weapon.

Only if you like to take advantage of every big MGker the game has to offer. Freeze and switch over to a high speed shooter. Switch and freeze all over again repeat till finished. It's saved me a bunch of times wondering along.

I use a shotgun build with 2 cold shoulders when I’m really looking to deal massive damage. I’ve tried all other shotguns but none compare and it’s not even close.

I was doing the queen scorched beast event with 10 others and I was right under need it when the shotgun and I didn’t stop shooting and I kept it frozen there. It was slowly moving but I kept it place long enough for the team to stand there and shoot

scorchbeast queen cant rly move since this weapon is the best in almost every event. also good aginst daily ops bosses. :D

need a good backup to the cold shoulder, try to find a quad explosive db and use the enforcer perk. it wrecks everything with limbs.

I max it out with stats and perks and base damage it does 198 and cryo Damage does 160 or some like that

Incredibly competent weapon. Basically a god roll you can craft on new characters. Quad on the double barrel is great, cryo adds base damage and slows anything in the game and the anti cryptid effect gives you huge damage boosts to earl and sheepsquatches. Not on the level of the auto axe but a phenomenal weapon nonetheless

It's pretty good, only flaws are the ammo capacity, lack of suppressor, lack of range and lack of area damage. It's more of a single target weapon. You may have some trouble in daily ops missions where you have to seek and destroy while they have armor piercing in groups or are invisible. Probably best to switch around between this gun for bossing and gauss shotgun for normal mobs.
