In today’s world, many are caught up in the pursuit of material wealth and physical comfort, often at the expense of their spiritual and moral values. Our society places ultimate value on possessions, wealth, and worldly success - leaving little room for true spiritual growth. Sadly, even many believers have become trapped in this mindset, desiring instant riches and comfort over the deeper truths found in Christ.

But following Christ isn't about avoiding suffering or chasing overnight success. It's about embracing the full journey - trusting that God’s plans for us go beyond material gain. As Matthew 6:19-21 reminds us, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Let's realign our priorities, focusing not on temporary gains, but on eternal treasures.
