That last part is something I've also been taught in Danish school. Like it is hilarious, modern media portraits, vikings as Dirty, rough men. Meanwhile, they were so beautiful and clean, especially for the time.

Vikings also had traditions around divorce. A primary wife could demand a divorce and a part of the property.
