Its so sad that axiom is only for fabric and theres no way to combine forge and fabric. I have a huge Minecraft project and axiom would help so much, but most block mods i need are forge only

More of a planning tool than a building tool but MCRGB lets you put in a color by HSV, HSL, RGB, OR Hec and shows you what blocks most closely resemble that color by block face (ie search for a lime green color and it will show that a stick piston's head matches by something like 90% but the sides match by 12%). It even supports blocks added by mods!
