One of the first guitar solos I learned for my high school band. All by ear of course. Needle and cue arm endless times lol.

This solo is what makes this song truly great. I hit rewind over and over again to hear this amazing riff. It's up there in Free Bird country. Thank you for this ingenious contribution to the musical world. Cant get enough of it.

Frkin PERFECT! that was awesome lol thanks KDA!! And, i'm instantly transported back to the gym at my high school sophomore year 1980 (?) some dance party thing and the Knack in all their one hit wondery was ruling the charts and this solo, every note of it, has always been burned into my brain from that time lol Brilliant.

I've always felt this is one of the best rock solos of all time. It's not just someone playing some fast licks to sound cool. It really does sing to us.
