I'm just wondering where the isolation valves go. I don't see any on the bottom or the top

Seems to make sense for a gravity fed system from an elevated tank.

Would make installing a sink drain pan so much easier.

Servicing would be challenging if it is installed to high.
it would still need drain valve on the bottom, right?

I like the top mounts personally, less piping. But looks nice also strutting them down to the bottom. Can’t go wrong with Noritz

I have no idea what’s going on half the time I just watch to learn and it fascinates me

Mmm seems like it might get a little claustrophobic with all the plumbing being at the top next to each other. Is this just an electric model or gas

I was a early adopter of tankless water heaters in the early 80s. Paloma brand, made in France, and they ALL failed roughly one week after the warranty was up😂. Sediment killed them, even with a good filter pre… chlorine killed them….”dirty gas” killed them… AND they did a piss poor job heating water - our water supplies are often below 50 degrees… even the largest units struggled to produce a 70 degree delta… 120 degree water and they did so at a trickle for volume. Maybe the new ones are a lot better IDK but my experience soured me for good on tankless

Woth the amount of expensive electronics inside, if there is a leak, its a replacement and not just leak fix.

Put them all the time, super easy, and don’t run into too many issues
