have you ever had anything made with brown butter that was bad? said no one ever! 🍌🍌🍌🍌

so, I took some semi-brown bananas and whipped up a cute lil’ quick treat for those of us who need a sweet fix after every meal (yeah, I’m talking about me 😂).

i have a love-hate relationship with bananas, but this week, we were on speaking terms because of this brown butter banana bread. hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I did!

ingredients:

•1 stick of unsalted butter (melted & browned)
•1 cup of brown sugar
•3 smashed bananas
•1 egg (make it vegan with 1/4 cup of applesauce or an extra banana)
•1 tsp of vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract, either works
•2 cups of flour
•1 tsp of baking soda
•1/4 tsp of salt
•1 cup of chocolate chips

instructions:

•smash the bananas.
•mix all wet ingredients in one bowl. Mix all dry ingredients in another.
•combine and fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
•grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Add the banana bread mixture.
•bake at 350°F for 55-60 minutes (or less, depending on your oven).
•cover the top with foil for the first half of the cooking time. •remove around the 30-35 minute mark.
