These objects were found in Tomb II of the cluster of Philip. Inside were the bones of a man in his mid 40s. The wear on the bones indicated that he spent a life in the saddle and had sustained several injuries that are consistent with Philip. There is debate however, on whether Philip is the male from this Larnax in tomb II or if he’s the male in Tomb I, which was also in his mid 40s and had a knee Injury consistent with Philip. Further testing is needed to verify which male is him.
