Garlic butter and steamed artichokes are mine and my husband's favourite. I have been unable to find beautiful ones like yours this year, for some reason. I never thought to confit the garlic before. I usually grated it then heated the butter with it in there. I am doing this next time. And the grated Parmeasean is a great touch.
