Got stuck in a stronghold for 4 hours then got mad and went into creative to blow it all up. Still couldn’t find the portal after that 💀

The longest I have been lost in a stronghold was on legacy edition, I was stuck between 1 and 3 hours (I'm not a speedrunner nor good at the game).
I literally had to go in creative mode, enter the seed and find out that the portal was behind a wall ☠️which I was very upset about

I once found a stronghold without a portal room. I spent like 20 minutes looking for it before switching to spectator and realizing that the stronghold only had a library and some hallways.

i was playing ranked and got to sh in 11 min (very good pace for me) and i got lost for 10 MINUTES!!
and i still was ahead!
i also almost hit the zero, but timed my first bed poorly and dragon broke it, so i backed off and waited for the perch and won!

One time i was just casually beating the game in a semi speedrun that took about 4 hours, and then i reach the stronghold, but this stronghold was not normal, the ONLY path to the portal room was behind a door, behind a WALL, and i only discovered this 30 minutes later when i gave up and made a copy of the world to go in spectator

All this and still sub 30, you are seriously great at this game.
