Making a disney princess gown into a cocktail dress is so smart.
Love it all except for the bad fit around the bust. The rest is really clever from fabric choice to the gathering method.

I think that white is so bright it makes. Even in the original dress the collar and hip pieces were in a lighter shade or whatever color it was. I would go for lavender instead to make it cohesive

Too many wrinkles on the torso it's I'll fitting. You should always use preset patterns as a guide and then alter the patterns to fit the body's actual sizing. We aren't all "catalogue" sizes. I also don't like this new fad of wanting to use zip ties as boning.
Fabric is absolutely stunning. Invisible zip... I love it... It's very rare I get to see people do zigzag stitch over cording to gather... But I really enjoy it when I see it... And a dress should always have a lining... Fast fashion has lost lining but it serves it's purpose and you know it's well made if it has lining.

A note about zip tie boning. In my experience, they don't hold up well as the zip ties tend to lose their shape in repeated washing. A strong boning channel may prevent a majority of the sagging.

You can buy rolls of yards of plastic boning. It’s a heck of a lot cheaper and easier to use than zip ties. Great alternative though.

I get the sleeping beauty inspiration but somehow this reminds me of a star trek costume from the original show. Love the fabric but it needs a little more length imo.

I feel like the pure white is a bit too bright to compliment the darker color-shifting fabric, but the vibe is very nice.
