yess, both are good, but we see her voice evolution, and her mind evolution too, when she says “you called them crazy, god i hate the way a called them crazy too” she is seeing that she doesn’t needs to fight or argue with a girl, because women should help each other instead of trying to bring themselves down, her high notes have also improved a lot, i love both songs, but vampire took my heart

Drivers license will always be iconic? For me, it was the one song that made Liv really pop off and I’ll always like it but damnnnn girl, vampire it just hits a piece of me deep in my soul I can’t even explain it.
I also love the comparison between the first album ‘sour’ and start of this next album ‘guts’, it really shows how she’s matured vocally and just mindfully.
From comparing herself to the other girl, how “she’s everything i’m insecure about” to how “I hate the way I called them crazy too” really shows the reflection and how Liv’s matured both vocally and mindfully.
Basically I love Olivia and her songs are dope so- I can’t wait for the rest of this album ✨✨

Okay first of all i can't stop listening to this song but something about Olivia's songs always makes me feel like she uses the same formula on everything. I'm not an expert on music so maybe its the fast tempo drum beats or the constantly escalating pitch until the climax type of melody but there's just something that makes this sound exactly like other pop-rock songs of hers

Driver's License is a great song. That was the first song that I heard to Olivia that really got me into listening to her musics. But Vampire is great as well, in a way that it really has something different and something new, especially the arrangement of this song. ❤️
