Goth isnt my style but Im trans and Ive switched jobs... so many times because of it. They want to judge more on appearance than work ethic. My current job gets the point and realizes that when I dont get to do my thing im upset and it messes up my work, so they don't bother me. Might need to find a job that allows you to be you, it sucks when you feel like you have to hide yourself. Be you and dont worry about it. If they're toxic shit theyre not worth the effort you put in to help them stay in business.

Iām not trying to be that person but I get it if youāre a nurse or a place has strict policies. But Iād say other than being a doctor/nurse I canāt think of any place this makeup would not be acceptable.

I understand, but itās not professional. You need to have some decency, and keep personal life from work life. I know everyone wishes the same as you, but there are rules for reasons. In some settings this makeup isnāt appropriate. Really depends on your job, honestly.

People are taking this WAY too seriously, so Iām pinning this. This applies to ME. If it doesnāt also apply to you, you shouldnāt be here. Itās not a matter of me āhidingā myself or anything like that. MY job just doesnāt allow me to dress how I want (or wear makeup like this) & thatās a fact. Iām aware that I can leave, but thatās my business. I have reasons why I havenāt yet. Donāt twist it into something that itās not. Have a nice day.
