Sanchez was truly one of the greatest to ever do it. Can’t believe he was only a kid in his early 20s dismantling legends and Hall of famers

I’m a young head so never watched him live but his constant movement faints and timing are a thing a beauty. I have never seen a guy sooo fluid in his movements. Everything was one motion. Swing left and launch a jab or hook swing right jab/hook. Lower his body hook/jab to the body. Nothing wasted… He didn’t look fast didn’t look explosive yet he was crackingggg from rd.1 to rd.15 best cardio ever. Never looked gassed. RIP

He was a great young champion. I remember when it was announced he had died in a car crash. He was only 22yrs old. He had another 12-15 yrs (in the ring ) ahead of him but never got to live it.

I used to fight with that same bounce but was told it was wrong. Had I studied Sanchez maybe I would’ve stuck with it

My second or third favorite fighter. I have Ali first and I go back and forth with Salvador and Ray Leanord

It was more than just that, he had a habit of slightly feinting his head left and right before bouncing in. When he would slip in, he wouldn't hit you immediately every time, he would wait to see what you would do "sometimes", others, he would hit you, others, he would bounce right back out. This way, the he was never predictable.

Top 3 Mexican boxers all time nxt to Chavez Sr. And, IMO, Ricardo Lopez, who no one ever gives props to….51-0-1 38 KO’s.
Lopez had kind of an awkward style, very reminiscent of Dimitri Pirog, not as defensive minded, but similar usage of the pendulum style footwrk.
