This is the first time Nintendo has acknowledged the F-Zero franchise in years! Because of this, some people are a little unhappy that it isn't a new main-line game.
How did you feel about this announcement? Personally, I've found all of Nintendo's Battle Royale games to be a lot of fun so far (My favourite being Super Mario Bros 35) and F-Zero 99 is no different. I played it this morning and it honestly feels like the most fleshed out game out of all the Battle Royale releases so far. It was great fun.

If you claim to be an F-Zero fan but you hate F-Zero 99, please sit down and shut up because you are the small minority... the game is addictingly fun and the only people whining are little dorks looking to find something to complain about because that's all they know how to do.

So many people are all "I wanted a PROPER F-Zero game! I'm not supporting this!" and it's because of that exact attitude that we might not ever GET a proper F-Zero game again.
If you truly like F-Zero, you should support this. Show that the franchise still has a huge following.

I think that the game is good, I mean. Sure. It is not what everyone wanted. But we all have to agree. That we must be happy that Nintendo does at least know that F-ZERO still exists.

Twitter is such an unbelievably negative place it's ALMOST unreal. So glad I'm not on there. I played this for 4 hours last night and had so much fun! Won a Grand Prix and got my sparkly gold vehicle skin :)
