Tangle teezer seems to works best for dry detangling with oil.

I personally have tangle teaser. The one she uses here purple is made for the thickest hair. The pink one is much more flexible and works better.

LISTEN!!!!! I've been using the unbrush this whole year and been in love from day one of using. Which is a "funny" story because it was actually delivered on wash day. I was struggling so bad with detangling my hair after a bad blow drying experience (using the revair on high heat without detangling first. Learned my lesson fast lol). It was so bad and my hair tangled up so bad and was dry of course. I got a knock on the door after almost in tears because i didn't know what to do and the detangling brush i was trying to use wasn't working. When i opened it and tried it out, i immediately felt my hair start to detangle and almost cried with joy. Instantly understood all the hype. I was so skeptical at first because the bristles felt too soft and i have a 4b/c medium density type. I thought it wasn't going to work. But it worked and saved the day and I've been using it faithfully ever since. The only brush that doesn't rip through my hair and i lose a lot less hair when detangling. I've also used this exact tangle teezer before but it ripped my hair out too much and was cast aside awhile ago. I was mostly only finger detangling at the time that i received the unbrush. Ok story time over lol

I think they’re both good, but if you go through with the tangle teaser then you have to do smaller sections.

Same results on my hair! I use the unbrush as a detangler and the tangle teezer as a styling brush (for defining curls).

I’m also a type 4 natural and find that my pink tangle teaser does an amazing job at detangling my hair. I only use it while the hair is wet so o can’t say if it’s great on dry hair (which I never detangle on dry hair), but thanks for showing the comparison of the 2.

I never liked the tangle teezer...i have an unbrush and also a Felicia Leatherwood brush. I prefer the unbrush my daughter preferred the Felicia Leatherwood

Greetings. Fellow Louisianian here. When I stumbled across 1 of your hair washing videos & saw you use the unbrush in what you said was type 4 hair, I thought it was video magic ✨️ So I reluctantly purchased the unbrush for my hair, which is 95% type 4c super coily. I tried it about 3 weeks after it arrived ... and was COMPLETELY surprised & happy & thankful all rolled into one‼️ Since then, I purchased another 1 in case the manufacturers change the design & it no longer works.
I've been studying your videos 2 build my courage 2 do a wash & go. Thank you so very much for providing AMAZING content for super coily girlies like me. Blessings 2U❣️

I love the Unbrush. My daughter is 4, autistic, non verbal. I struggled so hard to detangle her hair as quickly but thoroughly as possible before the Lordt blessed me with the Unbrush. Wont he do it.
