As a cis woman I just feel like giving a quick PSA to my fellow trans people. I know with how social media is set up, it may seem like there’s more people against than for trans rights and that’s statistically not true! Well in the US at least and I really hope that in a few years to come that this won’t be a “conversation” anymore and that you feel safe to be who you were meant to be. In the meanwhile, just know you have people like me in the world who see you, love you and want nothing but good fortune for you ❤

At every gathering my family has, at least one member of my conservative family brings up one trans issue or another. "They're teaching it in the schools." "Can you believe they're overtaking women's sports!?!" "Let them try to cut off my grandson's manhood. They'll find out the meaning of fear!" The anger is palpable and it breaks my heart.
