Unfortunately the Mic 1 seems to sound better, I just wish the hot-shoe adapter was built into the RX with the MIC 1. Besides that, mic 1 is perfect imo. If DJI could make an updated RX sold separately for the mic one I would buy it immediately.

I’m not quite sure if I’m sold with the mic 2, I think the capsule is just designed differently compared to the first iteration, maybe they cut corners with adding more features? And also I’m noticing with units on the mic 2 they’re different capsules being shipped out. They’re not the same microphone which is a bit of a let down when you see people trying to EQ it. I really want the mic2 but I might just get the Rode wireless Pro’s instead for sound quality and still get 32bit float.

That shure sm7db was being recorded how? I was thinking dji mic 2 from the other videos does not sound good but If that’s what the venerable shure sounds like with no eq then I guess dji mic 2 sounds good too lol. (I was shocked how not nice the shure sounded without eq)
