My replacement has arrived. The new one and original work perfectly as long as I don’t use the smart pianist app. The app seems to be causing the issues so it would appear that it’s a software fault and not a hardware fault.

Yamaha have told me that they are going to replace this piano with a new one. I will let you know when that happens.

Switch piano off, hold the last white key down, while switching on. This is an reset. Maybe it helps
