My uncle has lived in Texas his entire life and is, somehow, a Jets fan. I once questioned him as to why, saying if he enjoyed being awful why not just root for the Texans. He was so high in preseason, banking on Aaron Rodgers, telling me I should enjoy my fruitless hometown pride. Yeah . . . the season aged him greatly and amused me endlessly.
