Its really fricked up that people actually make fake eclipse glasses just for the money like you're making him temporarily or even sometimes permanently blind so stay safe and make sure your glasses are real â¤ď¸

Unfortunately I wasnât able to see the eclipse (I didnât have glasses) BUT, for future eclipses if you donât have glasses try to find âeclipse shadowsâ theyâre just shadows (from trees and such) that appear in crescent shapes, theyâre probably the coolest phenomenon!

Fun fact, during totality (when it is completely covered) there is a moment you can view it without glasses, while there are other moments right before or after totality which are incredibly dangerous to look at. Another fact: some people can go blinder easier then others, it comes down to multiple factors: distance, a persons vision and sometimes how long they look at it, there is no time limit for how long you have to look in order to be blind it varies.
(You can also use viewing cards! Make sure they say: ISO or ISO APPROVED)

Hereâs something if you donât have eclipse glasses: Welding helmets with shade level 12 or higher can also work. Most welding helmets can change shade level with a switch just make sure they work and are charged, because we have 2 helmets and one didnât go black when looking at the eclipse which damages your eyes.

If you do watch the eclipse make sure that they are pitch black when you look in them (except for looking at the eclipse) and make sure they have been iso approved you can check in the glasses to see but there may be a chance that the looking part had been changed but it's very unlikely to happen so stay safe i know i am late but i am just informing you to help you stay safe next time

To clarify (a little late, I know lol), you can look with unshielded eyes if the eclipse is in 100% totality. In fact, a 100% total eclipse is completely invisible through eclipse glasses. But only during 100% totality. As soon as the sun starts peeking through again, the glasses should be back on.
