Reaper and Cubase are great because they allow you save custom colors so drums or bass or whichever is always the same. I found in Ableton I'd spend a sec sitting there trying to remember which specific shade of green I used last time for piano haha.
Reaper also allows you to assign individual colors to a key command so I've got them saved / labeled on an iPad controller. The house keeping stuff is annoying but having a simple way to organize is super useful.

Colouring the tracks different colours will also help. In my mixes green means bass and brown means drums.
