i live in colorado, 900.00 depending on where he load and dropped could vary from 800 to 1000 miles. so that equals 1.125 on 800 mile from big d to den, now the low end houston to denver 1000 miles equals .90 cents per mile, i have made that trip up 287 numerous times and that is hard driving. not knocking what you are doing, if you like to travel, most important is vehicle maintenance. best bet would be to try and find a small load broker until you build your customer base. you are absolute right when you speak of lowering your customer rate, in order to build your customer base be ready to go cheap and build your name. good luck with your seminar.
