It got him to a position similar to that of a vice president, riding around with Trump. I don't really think he cares about the platform or the money anymore (although he probably wanted money from it too), but the power he holds now probably makes this one of the best investments in American history. This is the closest he will ever be to president unless they change an amendment and he wins the presidency himself.
