As someone who dislikes physical touch, all of my best friends that I've had love it.
I get bombarded with hugs I didn't ask for nor did I usually like, but surprisingly they're always people I'm okay with hugging.

That's so tricky with what hugs have to do with the brain, 'cause we all know that hugs are essential to maintain the emotional bond with people you love, and it is a simple way to express gratitude. What I mean is that I might be just a stranger out there on the YouTube app, but I really am imagining myself a psychologist explaining reasons behind the urge to hug a friend. This is such a basic human interaction, but I like how gentle the movements you pictured in there were. Thank you!

with physical touch as my love language, my best friend is someone who hates physical touch lol. it was never really their thing and i respect that, so we resort to other things like words of affirmation! every once in a while she'll give me a hug and i really like that because she's willing to step out of her comfort zone and i don't have to initiate it and make her uncomfortable in the process :3
