Here's a little fact:
The lavender circle was "accidentally" introduced in 2015 when NCS decide to make the purple circle lighter in a couple renders in their videos. Back in 2015 and briefly 2017, the purple circle originally represents two genres: Future House and Future Bass, in which a handful of Future Bass songs were in purple circles. However, NCS didn't use the circle for a while in 2016 due to low views until it was brought back, but mainly for Future House only (in addition of Bass House and later Techno/Club music in 2024), while Future Bass was around between green and white circles. In 2022 after fans' demands, NCS finally recognises the lavender circle as an official circle, giving it to Future Bass.
(imo this genres looks better on a green circle, as it sounds a closer to Trap)
